We Moved (and unpacked...)

We are moved into our new place (email if you still need our new address) and are unpacked enough (90%) that I wanted to share the much anticipated pictures of our place.

Our windows and porch are on the south side of the building. We enjoy having some outside space attached to our apartment.

Kitchen window - looking out from kitchen. We are suprised how much we love having this little cut out. It really opens the space and we use it a lot too. (still needs a bit of unpacking)

Here are some pictures of our new porch plants! They add some much needed color.

This has been a busy week and half. I hope to have time this next week to update everyone on some of our exciting adventures.

We are moved into our new place and mostly unpacked.

Already loving the dishwasher, washer/dryer, and counter space.

We had a busy, productive, wonderful, goodie filled weekend:

New Slippers - much more "womanly" then my "man-slippers" I had before

Packing successes! We have over 75% of our place packed. Thank goodness for the lobby by our place that we are allowed to stack full boxes!

AND MOST EXCITING OF ALL!!! All these photos were taken from my NEW iPhone! Yippy!

10 day forecast - a week from Sat sunny :D

Lets hope that holds because we have the Uhaul reserved for that being our moving day!

(15 minutes after originally posted - I realized that if our moving date is at the bottom of the 10 day forecast then we are moving in 10 days! Yipes!)

Pretzels

For some reason a couple night ago I got in the mood to make homemade soft pretzels. They turned out pretty good!

I forgot to mention in the last post the musical is called "Caroline, or Change" by Tony Kushner.

In other news Thomas and I found out we move a week from Saturday! Yikes, it is time to get packing!

Yesterday Thomas & I tried our luck at getting rush tickets at the Guthrie Theater downtown.

And we were successful. The theatre sells whatever tickets it has left to the show 10 min before the performance time at a discount rate. I'm glad Thomas convinced me to give it a try. It was a wonderful moving musical.

PS - the musical is called "Caroline, or Change" by Tony Kushner

This week we will begin packing for our move :S
