owl Karma

You know that a) you are loved and b) maybe people know your obsessions way to well or you have made them too obvious - when you have 2 surprises in the mail - days within each other!

So two days ago I got a wonderful little package from my dear friend Alison. (stop and go look at her blog now in and then come back to the story - because she deserves some serious blog love) I opened up the envelope to find this treasure of an owl necklace! Isn't it lovely. I was super excited and thought about how I totally need to do a post on how awesome Alison, owls, surprise mail, and my new necklace are!

Then on my way home this afternoon, while rocking my new necklace, I checked my mail and found a box addressed to me. I carried it home, like a little treasure tucked under my arm, while contemplating what I might have ordered that would be coming in this box. I got home and opened it to find this amazing owl shirt from my even more amazing mother-in-law. So I promptly put the shirt on, with the necklace, and took a photo to share.

Isn't it cute! Can I just add that I took the photo myself, because I was home alone, and that meant I took about 15 photos to try and get a good shot of me and the inanimate objects. Even though another shot had more of the shirt and me, I choose this shot because it reminded me of my favorite senior picture when I was poking my head around the corner of a wall.

Anywho (get it whoo like an owl) back to the Owl Karma Love -  Thanks for those who are amazing and brightened my day with some wonderful owl love!

Now I'm going to pass the Karma and mail love on...
