Now I am often reminded how blessed I am. The list is long and today I'd like to focus on one of them. I'm blessed to have a crafty mom! When I first got on Pinterest I found this pin:

To say I was in love is putting it mildly. I immediately emailed the link to my mom with a simple request that I would love to meet this owl and have him join me for tea. The link was to knitting instructions for the owl.

Months later my parents came to visit for a bit of a birthday weekend. When they walked in with a giant trash bag with ribbons my heart leaped with hope. Who did I find inside, but Miss Sage. (At first she was a Mr. Owl but 24 hours later she had a proper name). How lucky am I? My mom found a second hand sweater and sewed up Miss Sage for me!

We decided she needed a little hair flair.
